Volunteer Collier, as an internet based, local non-profit agency matches volunteers with charities in Collier County while providing marketing and promotional assistance to those agencies in their search for volunteers.

We also offer online access to a community calendar of fund raising activities, see "Calendar" above; plus a list of volunteer opportunities for those interested in a short term need, see "Opportunities" above; and a list of resources to help veterans.. Additionally, we partner with other non-profits to achieve greater benefits for the citizens of Collier County. (The Hunger and Homeless Coalition to initiate a program of feeding the poor and with a national corporation on a corporate retreat who wanted their people to be involved with charities while they were here). Volunteer Collier will recruit volunteers for emergency and disaster needs as well as environmental projects. Volunteer Collier encourages volunteerism among young people and will assist high school students in finding volunteer opportunities to fulfill the Florida Bright Futures scholarship requirements. We will be working with The Education Foundation on this project.
